The dieter can eat a sensible dinner, and can also eat two pieces of fruit and the Slim fast nutrition bar as snacks. This diet cuts about 1000 calories from the average male's diet, and 500 from the average female's diet averaging about 1200 calories daily. Slim fast recommends exercising while on the diet, but even without that you'll lose weight.

This Slim fast diet is easy to use, that's important. If people can maintain a diet without much difficulty, they're likely to be successful. another healthy aspect of the Slim fast diet is drinking a lot of water 6 to 8 cups everyday.

People need certain vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients which are not found in the Slim fast diet. Slim fast shakes and bars are simply not complete as far as nutrition. It's also very easy on this diet, and something that many people have done, to cut out that sensible meal. They want to lose weight even faster. But that's a very bad idea because it's far too few calories, and multiplies the problem of missing certain nutrients.

Sometimes people eat two regular meals and replace one with the Slim fast shake a modified Slim fast diet. That can be very effective, especially if the replaced meal is lunch, which many working people often eat at fast food restaurants.
