TAKE BACK THAT SEXY FIGURE!

By Jane Smith

It is my belief that every fashion trend has to come full circle sometime. By this I mean that every year we find that the trends from 5 years ago begin to get recycled. Going by this belief and as the fashion trends change, I take all my present outfits and pack them safely away in a trunk and take off on a wild shopping expedition to get myself some sets of clothing that are in vogue. Just some time ago I went through my treasure chest of clothing and pulled out some sets of clothing that I had safely stored away years ago. These turned out to be just the style of outfits that were currently in fashion. There was, however, a tiny problem - my size. The outfits were all of three sizes extra small for me to wear. It was not as if I deny that I have gained a few extra pounds here and there, but so many pounds. It was on the spur of the moment and in a fit of determination that I made myself a solemn vow - I was going to regain my sexy figure lost over the years come what may. It is very obvious that I had lost control of myself and I had a weight gain problem at hand. It was time I formulated a strategy to cope with the fat attack. Now, this is what I did

First step: To begin with I sat down and took stock of all my eating habits. Before long I was aware that I was consuming too much unhealthy food than I was the healthy food stuff. Through the years I had inadvertently donned the title of queen of take away and a connoisseur of all kinds of processed foods. I just had to change this. I decided that starting immediately it was going to be only fresh vegetables, lean meats preferably fish and all topped by the healthiest deserts that would include only fresh fruit. Before long my clothes were not so clingy and tight. Had I succeeded in stopping the weight gain?

Second step: Instead of my four cups of coffee a day, it was now four glasses of water and one cup of coffee. This one was a bit hard to do, as I am a coffee addict. Therefore, I would make myself drink one glass of water before I would have a coffee. I soon found that I did not have room for the coffee so I forgot about it. I discovered an amazing thing. I was not near as bloated as I had been in the past. Maybe that is why I was beginning to look a little slimmer. I think some weight loss was starting to become a reality.

Third step: I was the kind to cut corners when anyone mentioned the word Exercise. I believed that since I was so busy keeping my house spotlessly clean that I had to have a body that was fit as an athlete. I was blissfully unaware about that process called metabolism until I read about during one of my searches about weight loss and I was convinced that metabolism was exactly where the solution to my weight loss problem lay. It was imperative for me to increase my metabolism rate and to do this I had to become much more active. Now, I hate to exercise bit dancing I love and there was the solution staring me in the face. I got to work preparing what I a dance exercise. This was nothing but a few vigorous dances that doubled as an exercise routine. And it worked well for my weight loss as well as my dislike to exercise.

Now the bad news is that the fashion trend changed sooner than I thought and by the time I did manage to lose weight the clothes were fitting me well but they just did not fit into the fashion trend that had set in by them. The good news however, is that I managed to lose weight and was determined to keep it off. My fat plan attack was a roaring success and in the end I felt great and knew that people thought I looked great by the complements I received.

One other thing I know for sure as well is the next time I dig into that old chest all those little gems are going to fit this sexy body once again.
