Start Curing Your Tennis Elbow Using Specific Exercises

Tennis elbow symptoms can really bring a lot of pain and annoyance into your life. It is a specific nagging and/or painful sensation that is hard to miss. Certain movements will particularly hurt while avoiding these movements will lessen the pain.

Most people think that only tennis players are prone to this condition and even though almost a third of all tennis players will be affected by this nagging injury, it is thought that they only make up for 5% of all tennis elbow sufferers. Seeing that both a blow to the elbow or continuous repetitive actions can be the underlying cause, many people are at risk of experiencing tennis elbow symptoms at one point or another.

It is advised to seek the advice of a doctor about your tennis elbow in the following cases:

* You still experience the same level of pain after a week or two

* If you start noticing inflammation and your elbow feels hot

* If you have a fever

* If your elbow looks weird

Tennis Elbow Symptoms show in a variety of forms:

* Lateral elbow pain that can extend all the way out through both the forearm and wrist

* Weakness in your forearm and discomfort when extending your wrist

* Particular movement like grabbing small items, typing or shaking hands will feel uncomfortable

* Not being able to hold smaller things in your hands.

Painkillers can be a very effective way to deal with the short term symptoms of tennis elbow but they also can have some negative side effects. A more effective and less invasive way to deal with your symptoms are therapy and doing particular exercises. There are a few exercises that will instantly reduce your level of pain but they will also prevent the condition from returning.
