Are you what you eat?

We all want to look and feel younger these days. Look at any drug store vitamin shelf, any you will see row upon row of products that promise to make you look and feel younger than your years. But really, you will probably get a lot more value and a lot better results by adopting an anti aging diet. If you just eat right, you can take years off your appearance and feel younger too without ever touching an anti aging cream, lotion or elixir.

You are what you eat. An anti aging diet that includes pure water, fresh fruits and vegetables, and plenty of fiber will improve your appearance and health for more than any potion you may buy from the drugstore. If you drink plenty of pure water, your skin will be moisturized. Fresh fruits and vegetables will give you a fresh, healthy glow. Fiber will help remove toxins from your system and help you improve your skin tone and lose weight.

Take good care of your skin by using a good quality moisturizer and drinking at least eight large glasses of pure water every day. As we grow older, our skin tends to lose moisture, and we tend to forget to replenish it by keeping ourselves hydrated with water. Promise yourself to remember to drink your water every day. Then keep that promise. You will soon see a difference in the way you look and feel when you remember to add lots of fresh water to your anti aging diet.

Antioxidants work miracles when it comes to a successful anti aging diet. Foods with high levels of antioxidants will do a great deal to help reverse the effects of aging. For the best results, choose foods and drinks that are very high in antioxidants. Some examples are green tea, green leafy vegetables, colorful fruits, whole grains, nuts, fish, and yogurt. By making these foods a large part of your anti aging diet, you will see a tremendous improvement in your appearance, and you will feel it in your health.

Dont get the idea that these healthy foods are not also delicious. They certainly can be and are. Remember that aging affects your bodys ability to fight off the negative effects of junk food that adds nothing but empty calories to your diet. Take care of yourself and keep your vital organs functioning properly by enjoying delicious, healthy, natural foods.

You may think it will be difficult to eliminate fried, greasy foods and processed foods from your diet, but you will be surprised. Once you begin preparing delicious, healthy foods, high in antioxidants for yourself, you will wonder why you ever wanted junk food before. Once you begin to see the positive results in your appearance and the way you feel, you will never turn back.

Meet the aging process head to head. Be proactive by changing your lifestyle and giving yourself what you need to stay youthful and vibrant. Add antioxidants to your diet and eliminate foods that will do nothing but damage your body and mind. Add fresh pure water to your diet and throw out sodas and sugary drinks. Commit to making healthy changes in your lifestyle, and you will soon see positive changes in your appearance and the way you feel. Not only will you have regained your youth, you will be able to retain it.
